Wow I actually finished song #5 which is called Blind Love! I’m pretty proud of myself! I feel like I keep saying this but I’ve never written and recorded a song in 2 days and I did it today so it’s a pretty big day for me. Also in the past I’ve worked with other people and this song is all me. Nobody except for me has heard it yet. The songs last week were already written and this one I had the “would you love me … if you never saw me again” idea for years now but no chords and no other arrangement. The whole song came together since yesterday about 3pm.
Now to tell you a little about what the song is about … I wish I didn’t have to say this next part but I promised that I would be candid in my blogging. The “would you love me…’ idea was inspired by the same guy as Stranger and Every Morning. I know! It sounds so desparate and unlike a strong woman like me, but alas I am human and my heart is probably like yours. Sometimes it wants what it wants. But the rest of the song just came together with how the words fell into the groove. So it’s not about someone specific. It’s really about unrequited love.
